Administrative Court to hear observers’ complaint

The Administrative Court is to hear on March 19 the appeal filed by a group of people observing the February 18 presidential election against the Central Election Commission, lawyer Tigran Yegoryan told A1+.

On March 6, the CEC rejected the appeal of the Europe in Law Association NGO demanding to annul the election results in TEC 17. The NGO recorded numerous violations in the ballot, which, it said, hampered the conduct of free and fair election.

In it March 14 decision, the Constitutional Court announced the results of election in 17/05 polling station void based on the report of the Europe in Law Association which recorded ballot stuffing, as well as violations of observers and journalists' rights.
