Tigran Karapetyan will not be a candidate
The People's Party will not participate in the upcoming municipal elections. Today party chairman Tigran Karapetyan told "A1+".
"All elections are rigged and participating we are legitimizing the authorities, as if there is a competition", - said Mr. Karapetyan.
Referring to the presidential elections Mr. Karapetyan mentioned:
"Again the same story, we are again cheated".
To his words the presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian's hunger strike is a shame for the government is shameful and it would be much better that the other candidates also followed Hovhannisyan's hunger strike and the external forces would know that the elections were fraudulent.
At the same time, he believes that Raffi Hovannisian will not achieve anything with hunger strike. "He does hunger strike to gain some position but the government will not give up", - Tigran Karapetyan said.
