Ervand Manaryan: This is not the life we live
Addressing the participants of today's celebration rally organized by Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, actor Ervand Manaryan said he was ashamed to confess that his wife was the head of his family: she had a paramount role in his family as is the case in the world.
"It is the women who keep our country and nation," said the actor.
Speaking about the political situation in the country, Mr Manaryan said the authorities did not fulfill their pledges.
"We are not living the life we want to live, brothers, we cannot continue in the same way," he said adding that we should ensure the future of our children in this country.
"The person who does not care for his children and grandchildren is even worse than the piece of carpet we are standing on. Even Satan will not admit us to the hell for fear that we may stir up everything there," said the actor.
The celebration rally is dated to the International Women's Day.
Popular singers, political leaders, and civic activists will converge at the rally to honor Armenian mothers, sisters, and daughters.
