Three CEC representatives authorized to participate in hearing
Armenia's Central Election Commission has authorized CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan, Secretary Armen Smbatyan and Head of the Legal Department Nune Hovhannisyan, to participate in the hearing of appeals of presidential candidates Raffi Hovannisian and Andrias Ghukasyan to be held in the Constitutional Court on March 11.
The candidates are disputing the Feb. 25 decision of the Central Election Commission which declared Serzh Sargsyan as the winner in the Feb. 18 ballot. Deputy Prosecutor General Aram Tamazyan, Head of the working group Koryun Piloyan and Harutyun Harutyunyan, will represent the Prosecutor's Office in the hearing.
CC members Kim Kim Balayan, Felix Tokhyan and Ashot Khachatryan have been appointed as rapporteurs on the case.
