Catholicos Karekin II: It is a joy for us to praise our dear mothers
His Holiness Karekin II, Surpreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, has issued a message in connection with the International Women's Day.
"We send you our patriarchal blessings and congratulations to our women and girls on March 8. It is a great joy for us to praise our dear mothers, sisters and daughters, and to appreciate their devoted efforts in our daily, national and spiritual lives.
With their contribution, zeal and care in economy, science, education, culture and other sectors women attest to the biblical words that the grace of a good and wise woman is more than gold.
We pray to God, asking him to bless and protect all women, strengthen their faith, endow them with spiritual virtues, and grant them a peaceful and secure family life, continuous happiness, and ever new success.
May the grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sacrament of Holy Spirit be with you now and forever."
