Armenia's presidential candidate, leader of the opposition Heritage party, Raffi Hovannisian, who claims victory in the February 18 election officially won by Serzh Sargsyan, again started rallying his supporters in the regions.

Today he met with residents of Armenia's northern Dilijan city. Though few people attended the rally, it did not hinder Raffi Hovannisian from sending his ‘barev-s' (greetings) to the locals.

Raffi Hovannisian went to Dilijan to say that he was not going to stop the nationwide street protests challenging Serzh Sarkisian's re-election in the February 18 presidential election.

"We have not witnessed a similar situation since 1988. This is a victory of every and each citizen," Hovannisian said in his opening remarks.

The Heritage party leader reaffirmed his commitment to continue the nationwide struggle and force Serzh Sargsyan and illegitimate governors and mayors to resign offices.
"I do not agree with the opinion that we have missed the boat," said Mr Hovannisian.

He assured those gathered at the city square that soon all migrants would return to Armenia and everyone who would dare to violate citizens' rights would be held accountable.

Raffi Hovannisian's next stop is in Ijevan, another major city in Tavush region.
