Initiative group transfers AMD 4 million to aid Syrian Armenians
In October 2010, "Help your Brother" initiative group transferred AMD 5 million to Kashatagh Foundation to assist 20 Syrian-Armenian families who had settled in Kashatagh region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The money was given to the families to assist them in housing issues.
The initiative group has transferred another AMD 4 million to Kashatagh Foundation to assist in completing the construction of houses which has entered the final stage.
The group continues to show assistance to Syrian Armenians who have fled from Syria and have now found themselves in a difficult situation.
"Help your Brother" initiative group in collaboration with Association of Christian Doctors has recently donated about 500 parcels with foodstuff and warm clothes to the students and teachers of Cilician school.
The initiative group expresses its gratitude to all individuals, businessmen, political and charitable organizations that have had their contribution to the continued support of our fellow citizens who fled from Syria and settled in Armenia.
