Case of electoral pawn in CC
Today the appeal of Narine Mkrtchyan who put her candidacy for the RA presidential elections, but was no t registered was heard in the Constitutional Court.
The applicant has found that electoral pawn of 8 million dram is discrimination towards the candidates which is unconstitutional. It contradicts the Article "Each person can elect and be elected". In fact, who does not have 8 million, can not be elected.
The trial lasted short. The court entered a meeting room to make a decision.
