About 30-40 students accompanied by civil activists again took to the streets, protesting against the ‘rigged' February 18 presidential election.

They marched from the central building of Yerevan State University to the Faculty of History, greeting passers-by and informing them about the strike. Reaching the History Faculty building, the striking students formed a chain and stood in silence for a moment.

Later they decided to continue the strike in front of the Constitutional Court at 5 p.m.

Representatives of Heritage party leader Raffi Hovhanisian, who officially finished second in the February 18 presidential race, are expected to file an appeal with the CC at 5.30 p.m. to dispute the official results of the Feb. 18 ballot that gave victory to incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan.

On Feb. 25, students of state-run universities and institutes declared boycott of classes as an act of protest against fraudulent presidential election. In this way, the students express their support for Raffi Hovannisian.
