Seimas to form Litva-Artsakh friendship group
The Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia, the leader of the group of Armenia-Lithuania Friendship, Eduard Sharmazanov on February 27 called to Algis Kashetayi -the member of Republic of the initiative group Lithuania- Artsakh Republic friendship.
Eduard Sharmazanov welcomed the initiative to form Litva-Artsakh friendship group, which was signed by the nine members of the Seimas which represents different political factions.
According to the words of the Vice President it is an important milestone based on the democratic standards directed to the international recognition of NKR independence and the Lithuanian parliament did not partake even in the case Azerbaijan provocations and with this step they proved that they support the idea of independence and freedom.
The two sides stressed the importance of the further cooperation between the parliaments of the Republic of Armenia and of the Republic of Lithuania and of the continuation of friendly relations.
