The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has already made a decision; it is not going to join the nation-wide protests led by Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian.

"We have no reason to join them," BHK MP Rustam Gasparyan told A1+.

"Instead of rallying people at Liberty Square and engaging in rhetoric, BHK is doing its work. You can enter the rooms of my colleagues to see what they are doing there," said BHK Spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan.

He says Raffi Hovannisian should specify his proposals and future steps.

"We are waiting for them to submit concrete proposals and plan of actions," said the BHK official.

In the meantime, lawmakers of the Heritage parliamentary group are preparing for the NA extraordinary session and the next rally to be held in Yerevan on Thursday. Hovannisian's supporters know what to expect from the authorities and are ready to counteract any form of violence against the nation-wide struggle.
"Our steps will be equivalent to those of the authorities," said Ruben Hakobyan, Head of the Heritage faction.

He believes that the authorities will be reasonable enough not to open fire at their compatriots [as was the case during the 2008 post-election clashes]. Ruben Hakobyan also added that his party was going to participate in the upcoming municipal elections.
