Serzh Sargsyan gives thank-you speech
Serzh Sargsyan gave a speech at the central office of the Republican Party to thank his team and the whole Armenian society.
"This elections proved once again that the Armenian nation can come together and make the right decisions in the most important and crucial moments. These elections were elections of ways and Armenians chose the road to the secure future. And I'm happy and proud that I will be next to every Armenian on that road.
I am grateful to my team, to our team. I am proud of my entire team.Unsolved problems do not exist for such kind of a team. I am grateful to all those who were able to realize the importance of the moment and who joint efforts of holding right elections.
I thank to my competitors, Raffi Hovannisian, Hrant Bagratyan , Paruyr Hayrikyan, who were able to make changes in Armenia's political life, and to me, frankly speaking, it was an honor to compete with them.
I thank to all the reporters who did not spare effort and energy to illustrate all the candidates' campaign rally. I am grateful to our law enforcers, police, security personnel, who were able to provide the right and the opportunities of freedom of expression of all the candidates.
I think that together we were able to prove to everyone, including ourselves, that with our own efforts we are able implement serious changes in the country and it gives great hope that in the near future, that changes will give their results.
We will continue our work starting from tomorrow since nothing is terminated with the elections,on the contrary, the hard part is coming and with our team we are all ready to implement that work.
I am proud and I hope that all those who did not vote in my favor, will understand the majority's decision and in a sustainable environment we will start to develop Armenia- our treasure, our homeland and our pride. Glory to our nation. I am grateful".
