60,05 % participate in presidential election in Armenia
About 1671027 (60,05 %) citizens have cast ballots in the February 18 presidential poll as of 8 p.m., reports the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The voter turnout according to provinces is as follows,
Aragatsotni marz - 72 696 voters (63,60 %)
Ararat marz - 157 506 voters (73,97 %)
Armavir marz - 127 845 voters (56,92%)
Gegharkunik marz -128 796 voters (69,6 %)
Lori marz - 143059 voters (60,15 %)
Kotayk marz - 137 561 voters (59,15%)
Shirak marz - 132 793 voters (57,92 %)
Syunik marz - 71 899 voters (65,50 %)
Vayots Dzor marz - 29 597 voters (62,65 %)
Tavush marz - 71 307 voters (65,73%)
Yerevan - 445 338 voters (53,99 %)
Some 1671027 voters cast ballots in the 2008 presidential election in Armenia.
According to preliminary reports Raffi Hovannisian is leading at precincts 2/08 and15/31.
