Fatherland and Honour Party today quits HAK
The Fatherland and Honour Party today decided to suspend its membership with the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK). The decision was taken during today's meeting of the party's political council, which was chaired by party leader Garnik Margaryan.
"The famous step of certain forces affiliated with the opposition alliance put an end to the desire of consolidating the opposition, moving the process from the strategic field to the tactical one. After losing every hope of creation a general national front, the Fatherland and Honour Party announces its decision to suspend its affiliation with HAK," the party said in a statement.
