Good weather, transportation and voting
60.5 percent participation of voters is expected to be on February 18 in the presidential elections. Sociologist Aharon Adibekyan presented that index today at a meeting with journalists.
According to the survey, 35 percent of voters will not participate in the elections for sure and 56 percent will surely take part.
52 percent of the voters has already made a decision, 14.4 percent of the votes will be distributed due to the candidates' campaign activity.
The survey has already showed that 7.1 percent of the citizens hesitating to go to the polls or not to, has a clear excuse.
For instance, 2.1 percent will go to the polls, if there is time, 1.8 percent, if observes a convincing campaign, 0.9 percent, if the weather is good, 0.8 percent, if transportation is allocated, 0.7 percent in case of material profit and 2.6 percent if solves a personal problem.
Aharon Adibekyan considers barely impossible the second round of elections, however, observes that there are provinces like Armavir, Aragatsotn, Shirak, where the votes given to the candidates are nearly the same.
The survey, in which participated 1670 adult residents, was conducted in Yerevan and in the provinces of Armenia, from February 8 to 10.
