Let the new party be named Country of Law 2 or Prosperous Armenia party 4
Ashot Manucharyan, a member of the Karabakh committee, excludes presidential election run-off and says the election outcome is pre-determined. However, he predicts activation after the February 18 ballot.
"After the election people will begin to search for ways to get out of the situation. The fake elections bound to us from the West hinder that search. The real process will start after February 18," said Mr Manucharyan.
"People are not activating today as the media are trying to distract their attention from political processes. The member of the Karabakh Committee says the Armenian people only once made a real choice; it was in 1988-1990.
"Mass plunder of the country is taking place today, without anything else existing," Mr Manucharyan said adding that the elections were not rigged in 1990 and 1991. "In 1990, we elected a new parliament and in 1991 - a president. During the tenure of that president [Levon Ter-Petrosyan] we chose the way of plunder."
When speaking about Armenian National Congress's reshaping as a party, Mr Manucharyan recalled the times when the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh) was formed.
"It was a curse which later took over the reigns of power and committed numerous crimes. The society ascribed those crimes to the HHSh," Mr Manucharyan said adding that the same process is underway in regard to the Armenian National Congress.
"Let them create a new party, I see no problems here. But let them name it Country of Law 2 or Prosperous Armenia party 4," he said.
