Police on candidate’s HQ attack
On February 12, at around 5.35p.m., Artashat Police Department received a report that the posters of presidential candidate Hrant Bagratyan were torn in Nerkin Dvin village.
Henrik Avagyan, Head of the Artashat-based campaign headquarters of the presidential candidate, informed the police that he had noticed the passengers of a VAZ-2107 vehicle tearing the posters at about 2 p.m. they argued that the posters were affixed in a prohibited.
Later it was found out that the vehicle belonged to municipality of Nerkin Dvin village and the aforesaid passengers were municipality representatives. The two later visited the local police station to give explanation.
Investigation is underway.
