The Armenian side has silenced the gunshots fired in the direction of Tavush marz by Azerbaijan on Tuesday night, a spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry told A1+.

"We responded to the shooting of the adversary. Everything was quiet and normal in the morning; no more shots were fired by Azerbaijan. Contract serviceman Gevorg Melikbekyan was wounded during the violation of ceasefire by the Azerbaijan side," said Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
The Ministry official says the Armenian Armed Forces fully control the situation and steps are taken to curb the enemy's hanky-panky.

Talking to A1+ Andranik Aidinyan, Headman of Aygepar village, said Azerbaijanis had fired in the direction of civilian population, targeting at roofs, windows and cars of the village.

"Thank God, no shots were fired today. Although an atmosphere of fear is still felt in the village, children went to school in the morning. Our village is always at gunpoint, shots are heard every now and then. This time the snipers seem to have targeted peaceful residents. Yesterday we were scared to death, we did not even dare to raise our heads," said the village headman.
