Aram Harutyunyan withdraws from presidential race
Presidential candidate Aram Harutyunyan has stopped his day-long hunger strike outside the Central Electoral Commission and submitted a withdrawal statement to the CEC as he promised earlier.
With the move, Harutyunyan urged all the hopefuls to withdraw their nominations from electoral lists, leaving incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan as the only candidate on the ballot papers.
February 18 was the last day for the candidates to file withdrawal letters with the CEC.
