Levon Ter-Petrosyan is not leaving politics
During his campaign rally in Yerevan's Arabkir community on Thursday, Serzh Sargsyan commented on Levon Ter-Petrosyan's recent interview.
"Your time has passed. Good-bye!" said Serzh Sargsyan.
Ter-Petrosyan does not hurry to leave politics. He has already spoken about the idea of turning the Armenian National Congress (HAK) from a bloc into a party.
Aram Manukyan, Chairman of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh), expresses his concerns over the pending dissolution of the opposition bloc. At the same time, he excludes the dissolution of the HHSh.
"HHSh is a member of a number of European structures, which has no precedents in the Armenian political arena. If HHSh is dissolved, it will mean stripping the party of all its responsibilities and privileges in Europe," said Mr Manukyan.
The HHSh chairman is for the re-organization of his party as part of the newly-formed party. Aram Manukyan says his party must be preserved with its ideological and political aspects.
