OSCE to monitor Contact Line
In accordance with an earlier agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a scheduled monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, near the settlement of Hadrut.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria).
The Nagorno-Karabakh authorities have expressed willingness to conduct the monitoring and ensure the security of the mission.
Representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense will accompany the group.
