Presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan was offended to hear the allegations that he hasn't got a diploma.
Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Mr Hayrikyan said he had entered university several times but had to quit his studies after he was arrested.
"In the end, I was lucky to graduate the Faculty of Law," said the candidate.

Speaking about Monday's statement of presidential candidates Paruyr Hayrikyan, Hrant Bagratyan and Raffi Hovannisian, Paruyr Hayrikyan said, "Had they made a similar call to Serzh Sargsyan, he would have supported it.

Then he added that since the initiative belongs to Raffi Hovannisian, it would have been presented to Serz Sargsyan by Hovannisian.

''If there is democracy in Armenia, we'll hold the second stage of the presidential race. I think if at least 3 of the candidates unite, the second stage of the polls will be inevitable'', said the candidate talking about the upcoming presidential elections.
Speaking about the upcoming presidential election, Mr Hayrikyan said, "" presidential runoff is inevitable if at least two of the three candidates do not unite their efforts ahead of the ballot, otherwise he rules out presidential runoff.

When presenting his electoral platform, the presidential candidate stressed that Armenia should maintain its traditional relations with Russian and Iran.
"Russia should decide whether it wants to remain Armenia's ally and stop selling weapons to Azerbaijan or suspend its military and political activity in Armenia," he said.
