Non-registered candidates apply to Prosecutor's Office
On January 21, 2013 the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia received the second plaint from the head of "Qashatagh" public organization, candidate for RA president R. Simonyan to bring to account the head of RA CEC T. Mukuchyan and his co-workers, to prevent the authorizations of the head of CEC, to delay the elections and make amendments in the Electoral Code for electoral mortgage of 8 mln AMD provided by Electoral Code.
R. Simonyan once more was given a written explication that no report on any crime is represented in his plaint, it doesn't contain any information about a concrete crime and the other statements are out of the frame of prosecutorial functions.
On January 21, 2013 the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia received the announcement of the candidate for RA president Pavlik Sargsyan dated 11.01.2013 on declaring himself "a hindered candidate of RA president" on the base of the demand of mortgage of 8 mln AMD provided by Electoral Code.
P. Sargsyan was given a written explication that no report on any crime is represented by him and his application does not contain any information about a concrete crime, reports the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
