Raffi Hovhannisian did not miss any shop
Armenia's presidential candidate, Heritage party's leader Raffi Hovhannisian today continued his ‘door-to-door' campaign in Yerevan's Erebuni administrative district. Despite the heavy rain the candidate was again without an overcoat.
Mr Hovhannisian was visiting from one shop to another, urging everyone to participate in the February 18 presidential election.
"I call on every and each citizen to go to the polls and make their choice on February 18," said Raffi Hovannisian.
The presidential candidate also visited local markets, large and small kiosks and talked to salespeople. Among other issues he also spoke about hunger strike as a way of struggle. Mr Hovannisian does not admit this extreme method of fight although he used to fast in the past.
"I hold a different opinion. Those who want to struggle in this way are free to struggle. But let no one curse the darkness as matters stand differently this time. I have visited [presidential candidate] Andrias Ghukasyan several times, urged him to stop the hunger strike and actively participate in the building of the country's future," said the Heritage leader.
