Do Free Democrats have problems?
Vice-Chair of the Free Democrats party, Anush Sedrakyan had agreed to meet A1+ on January 14 and to answer the company's questions. However, when our film crew arrived for the appointment, she refused to talk to us. Our reporter had to speak to the party's press spokesperson Angela Khachatryan.
The latter informed us that the party has not yet decided which of the presidential candidates it will support in the upcoming election. The issue is still under consideration. The party is waiting for the candidates to present their election platforms, programs and positions.
The Free Democrats party participated in May 6, 2012 parliamentary elections by a joint proportional list with Heritage and took two seats at the National Assembly. However, the parties later split, with the MPs of the Free Democrats announcing that they would no longer represent Heritage in Armenia's parliament.
