Mining companies to pay for monitoring of their activities
The Armenian Government has set the procedure for the payment and standards of monitoring, which shall be carried out for the purpose of securing safety and people's health living in the places of placing barren rock and wastes of mining industry, EcoLur NGO reports.
Monitoring findings will have more significance after the company finished its activities so as to reduce consequences of environmental pollution with industrial wastes.
Monitoring will be carried out by Nature Protection Ministry, while mining companies will pay for monitoring.
