Chairman of the National Concord Party Aram Harutyunyan says he has been the only candidate to have been least covered by media in recent years.

"Certain candidates have been granted more airtime as a gift from Santa Clause," he said.

Aram Harutyunyan says the situation in Armenia is more deplorable today than it was during the [Karabakh] war.
"The reason is that the ruling regime is only thinking about enriching its pockets. Our main task is to unseat the authorities. We have never had such a corrupt government," he said.

Mr Harutyunyan says the difference between the upcoming and previous elections is that ‘we do not have false candidates this time.'

"People, who were fighting against Serzh Sargsyan and his administration, today are kept in the basements of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK)."

The chairman of the National Concord Party is not going to second the other candidates if he does not enter the second round.

At the same time he suggests that the other candidates withdraw from the race, leaving Serzh Sargsyan alone in the struggle.

"In that case Serzh Sargsyan will be unable to rig the elections, moreover, he will not even gain 50 percent of the total votes, as the BHK is not with him and the country is in a terrible situation," he said.
