Armenia becomes member of UN Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space
General Assembly of the United Nations has made a consensus decision on Armenia's membership to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
Before the decision, Azerbaijan had been making efforts to hinder Armenia's membership. However, in a result of the diplomatic works carried out by Armenian side, on December 18 General Assembly made a decision on the full membership of Armenia in the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. This was another message of international community addressed to Azerbaijani government proving the failure of its plan to isolate Armenia, reports the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
