Invasion of privacy: Will Zurabyan sue media?
Should the media have published the wiretapped conversation between MPs Levon Zurabyan and Vartan Oskanian?
"This is real invasion of privacy. People cannot be recorded without their knowledge," says Shushan Doydoyan, Director of the Freedom of Information Centre.
In his turn, Lawyer Ara GHazaryan reminded that the media outlet bears responsibility when publishes data from unknown sources.
"The media can be sued for it. The media outlet takes the risk by publishing information, as the source is unknown, it is a ghost," he said.
The lawyer says this can serve as grounds for filing a criminal case as there has been invasion of privacy.
