On December 14, the OSCE mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan, in the direction of Kayanavan settlement of Tavush region.
During the briefing at the Governor's Office in Ijevan, the OSCE officials were briefed on the situation along the Contact Line, the statistics of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani side, as well as the actions of the snipers on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

From the Armenian side, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Irji Aberle and Evgeny Sharov.
No violations of ceasefire regime were registered.
The monitoring was conducted at a certain distance, as the Azerbaijani side once again turned down Armenia's proposal to cross the border and establish communication between officers.
