HAK to make statement in few days
A lawmaker of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) dismisses the reports that the opposition alliance was to make a statement on December 14 on its participation in February's presidential election.
"We are still considering the issue. We shall make a statement in a few days," Aram Manukyan said on Friday.
Mr Manukyan does not know whether or not the opposition alliance will contest the election.
"I do not have a reply to the question. Where should I know whether HAK will nominate a candidate in the election not?" he said adding that he would like Levon Ter-Petrosyan to run in the race.
The HAK lawmaker stressed once again ‘that it is Serzh Sargsyan who is destroying Armenia, and HAK is the only force capable of averting the destruction.'
