HHK: We respect Prosperous Armenia’s decision
We respect any civilized decision taken by the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK). Any decision made by the party is their internal matter, Spokesman for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Eduard Sharmazanov said on Friday.
BHK announced earlier today that it would neither participate in the upcoming presidential election, nor support the candidates of other forces.
In reply to the question whether they were not offended to hear that BHK was not going to support other candidates, including the incumbent president [Serzh Sargsyan], Mr Sharmazanov said, "HHK is guided by political categories rather than by joys and sorrows."
