What was Serzh Sargsyan doing at 12.12?
Serzh Sargsyan attended on December 12 the opening of an exhibition entitled When the Book Finds the Artist at the Hovahannes Toumanian Museum. The exhibition was held within the framework of events dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Armenian book printing.
The exhibition is dedicated to the history of the Armenian book reading and different stages of the artistic decoration of books, starting from the end of the 19th till the 1970-s of the 20th century.
Serzh Sargsyan toured the exhibition hall, familiarized with the exhibits presented in the framework of a joint project by five cultural establishments - H. Toumanian Museum, National Gallery of Armenia, Charents House-Museum, National Library of Armenia, and Charents Museum of Literature and Arts.
At the Museum of the great writer, Serzh Sargsyan observed also historical objects related to the life and works of H. Toumanian and familiarized with the recent activities aimed at their proper preservation and display, RA President's Press Service reports.
The exhibition was opened at 12.12.
