Will Ethics Committee grant Dashnaktsutyun's application?
The Ethics Committee of Armenia's National Assembly is currently considering in a closed-door meeting the application of Armen Rustamyan, head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun faction.
On November 28, Dashnaktsutyun appealed to the Ethics Committee over the foiled parliamentary sitting of the National Assembly slated for November 21. The Committee is to determine whether the parliamentary majority violated ethical principles by boycotting the opposition-initiated special session address the draft amendments to the country's electoral code.
The Committee is to accept or reject the application.
