Kobzon thanks Serzh Sargsyan for warm hospitality and appreciation
Serzh Sargsyan received November 23 People's Artist of the USSR, famous Russian singer Iosif Kobzon, who is in Yerevan as part of a concert tour devoted to his 75th birth anniversary.
Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Kobzon on his birthday jubilee and said Armenia is always happy to host the popular and talented singer, who is a good friend of Armenia and its people.
The Armenian leader stressed that the people of Armenia are proud of Iosif Kobzon's continuing loyalty to his friendship with the great Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan, which is also manifested in the warm words spoken by Iosif Kobzon about the great Armenian composer on every due occasion.
In his turn, Iosif Kobzon thanked Mr Sargsyan for the warm hospitality and appreciation. He informed the Armenian leader about his impressions regarding his current visit to Armenia, Armenian youth and Armenian musicians who participated in his benefit concert on Nov. 22.
