Oppositionists worthy of praise
FY 2013 budget is the most unsuccessful budget submitted during the four years of Serzh Sargsyan's tenure in office, member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) Vahagn Khachatryan told reporters on Nov. 19.
"The budget does not promise any perspective to Armenian citizens, including state servicemen," the economist said.
He says there is a need to create such conditions that will make Armenian citizens stay in the country, while the budget does not foresee such conditions.
All citizens who were earlier in two minds will undoubtedly leave the country after reading the draft budget," the HAK representative said. "You simply need to read a few figures. I am not speaking from the point of view of professionalism. I am speaking about the non-existing advancement in wages and the social sector which has seen numerous reductions in the last four years."
Speaking about interior political developments, Mr Khacahtryan said the opposition is very strong today.
"I am speaking about HAK and other oppositional forces. People are saying good things about the opposition," he said.
Vahagn Khachatryan says it is very difficult to work in the opposition today, and these people are worthy of praise.
HAK member says that the opposition need not field a joint candidate in the 2013 presidential election.
"The candidate I have chosen is Levon Ter-Petrosyan," he said in conclusion.
