Uruguay parliament official to visit Armenia
A delegation of Uruguay led by Jorge Orrico, President of the House of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, will arrive in Armenia on an official visit at the invitation of the Speaker of Armenian National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan.
The Head of the Uruguayan Parliament will have meetings with Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, representatives of the NA factions and tmembers of the Armenia-Uruguay Parliamentary Friendship Group. Also, Mr Orrico is scheduled to address the National Assembly. At Yerevan State University (YSU) the President of the House of Representatives of Uruguay will meet with YSU students and professors.
The delegation led by Jorge Orrico will visit Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and lay a wreath in memory of the Genocide victims.
