At the beginning of the four-day sitting of the National Assembly, Heritage Party MP Zaruhi Postanjyan called on her Republican colleagues to withdraw the notorious Armenian-Turkish Protocols from the NA agenda.

"As the parliamentary majority, you should demand that your president remove the protocols from the agenda. These protocols are a disgrace to all of us," said the Heritage lawmaker.

The National Assembly did not include in the sitting agenda the draft law on pensions submitted by opposition MP Hrant Bagratyan, the bill on establishing an ad-hoc committee to look into the Harsnakar restaurant incident [authored by Heritage MP Zaruhi Postanjyan] and proposal on creating an ad-hoc committee to study corruption practices and risks [initiated by Heritage faction leader Ruben Hakobyan]. Instead, the National Assembly approved the government-initiated bill on the accumulated pension system. Artsvik Minasyan, a lawmaker of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun, said the bill promotes the outflow of funds while Hrant Bagratyan, an MP of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), said, "This is an example of treasure theft. I just want to remind you that throwing a stone into a pit is much easier that removing it."
