Vardges Gaspari, a former political prisoner and member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) has decided ‘to teach a good lesson' to Armenian MPs. Mr Gaspari today met the MPs at the entrance of the National Assembly building with a poster bearing the photos of Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan, Arakel Movsisyan, Vardan Ayvazyan, Ruben Hayrapetyan. Gagik Tsarukyan.

The opposition activist says with the help of the informational and educational action he aims to express his opinion about Armenian political figures many of whom simply ignore the poster saying they are in haste. Since the National Assembly is discussing Monday the 2013 draft budget, the Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs, Agriculture, Finance and Health are also there.

Republican MP Karine Achemyan was the only Republican lawmaker to approach Mr Gaspari. She said that they had already considered the issue and expressed an opinion on it. Republican Naira Karapetyan said she was hurrying to participate in the sitting of the faction and had no time to speak to Gaspari.

Heritage MP Zaruhi Postanjyan was one of the few MPs not to be surprised at Gaspari's move. She explains the indifference of her colleagues by their fear and says they are likely to be involved in corruption and other crimes shown on the poster.

Ordinary citizens show more interest in Gaspari's poster; they stop near Gaspari, read the poster and ask him questions.
