ARF-D MP: I had a good opinion about Sharmazanov
For the first time the Armenian Revolutionary Federation -Dashnaktsutyun has realized that it does not have a competitive presidential candidate. I think that the reason is the party's present situation as not long ago Dashnaktsutyun was the third political force in parliament whereas today it is represented by five MPs, Spokesman for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov said reflecting upon ARF-D's statement.
"I had a good opinion about my colleague Sharmazanov and I wouldn't like him to fall to such a level as to distort the aims and approaches of our statement," ARF-D MP Artsvik Minasyan said in reply to Sharmazanov's statement.
"We have already said that persons are subordinated to the main issue , i.e. making changes in the management system. The seven basic proposals submitted by the Dashnaktsutyun are systemized and do not depend on anyone. The key to the country's development is hidden in the solution of these seven issues. Only after it shall we consider the issue of the party's presidential candidate. Sharmazanov is convinced that Dashnaktsutyun does not feel shortage of candidates but we have put aside the party interests. I advise Sharmazanov to sit around a table and participate in serious discussions instead of making similar statements," said the ARF-D representative.
