Opinion: "Armenians were reborn 95 years ago"
Representatives of the Armenian Communist Party (HKK) today laid flowers at the monument to Alexander Myasnikyan on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
Participating in the event were also young Communists.
HKK member Zaven Sahakyan says the ideas of the Communist Party are eternal and up-to-date.
"For me, November 7 marked the start of alternative civilization which is based on work and honesty rather than on money and exploitation," he said.
Communist Norayr Asoyan says that Armenians were reborn after the October Socialist Revolution.
"The revolution gave our people work, education and freedom while today we see people exploited."
On November 7, 1917, V. Lenin said, "Yesterday was early and tomorrow will be late"
