Armenian Premier receives Finnish delegates
Armenia's Prime Minister and Chairman of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Council Tigran Sargsyan met Wednesday with Rector of the University of Oulu, Lauri Lajunen, and Director of Academic Affairs, Eva Maria Raudasoja.
Participating in the meeting were members of the ASPU Council, including Vice-Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Republican Party MP Galust Sahakyan and ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan.
The interlocutors discussed cooperation issues between the two universities. Rector of the University of Oulu, one of Europe's largest scientific and medical centers, welcomed the activities towards improving higher education at the ASPU, and expressed readiness to expand collaboration in the future.
After the meeting the ASPU Council convened its regular sitting chaired by Tigran Sargsyan.
