Armenian Ambassador meets Argentine Vice-President
Armenia's Ambassador to Argentina Vahagn Melikyan met Tuesday with the Vice-President of Argentina, Senate Chairman Amado Budu.
Dwelling on the development of inter-parliamentary ties, the interlocutors highlighted the activation of the friendship groups set in the Argentinean Senate and Armenian National Assembly.
Amado Budu said there are wide opportunities to develop scientific-educational and cultural cooperation between the two countries in question. In this respect, the parties emphasized the cooperation between universities and other educational establishments.
Ambassador Melikyan said the memorandum of cooperation between Buenos Ayres State University and Brusov Linguistic University is already under consideration. At the same time Jose Lino Baranao, Argentina's Science, Technology and Productive Innovation Minister, is expected to visit Armenia which will be a serious impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
Ambassador Melikyan conveyed Amado Budu the greetings of the Armenian Parliament Speaker, and his invitation to visit Armenia which was accepted by the Argentinean official.
