Who will HAK cooperate with?
One of the key issues included in the election platform of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) presidential nominee is curbing the escalating emigration, secretary of the HAK faction Aram Manukyan told reporters on Monday.
"More people are leaving the country today than official sources report. The country is emptying," he said adding that in the last three days three of his relatives have left Armenia in cars with their families.
"What is the use of a president or parliament in a deserted country?" said the HAK MP.
Speaking about the upcoming presidential elections, Mr Manukyan said the opposition alliance is ready to cooperate with all opposition parties.
"Our target is the government. I consider all other forces that are not with us but disapprove of the governments' policy our supporters," he said.
Asked whether HAK is going to cooperate with the Rule of Law (OEK), Mr Manukyan said, "it is a stigma for us. The OEK is a disgrace among the political forces."
"HAK Leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan should win the elections and I am sure that with him we shall be able to confront all challenges faced by the country," the HAK representative said in conclusion.
