Opinion: Wage in Armenia can be raised 2-3 times
One need not be a financier to understand that wages in Armenia can be raised 2-3 times [within the available budget] provided that there is political will, says Karine Hakobyan, former secretary of the Heritage faction and public figure.
"Look at the budget. Only a small portion of expenditures is spent on wages. In general, the expenses are not clearly itemized. This has become a policy, with expenditures serving other purposes," she said.
