L. Zurabyan “I expressed a widespread opinion in the HAK”
Head of the parliamentary group of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK), Levon Zurabyan, says during his recent interview with RFE/RL's Armenian service (Azatutyun.am) he expressed an opinion well known in the opposition alliance.
This came after Nikol Pashinyan, another MP from the HAK, claimed that Zurabyan expressed his personal opinion when he said that there are two political forces in Armenia capable of unseating Serzh Sargsyan and these forces are Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and HAK.
"I predict a life-and-death struggle, and the opposition must do everything in this struggle for democracy to attract the right allies who will seek to change the political logic and set new rules of game, separate business from politics, create a competitive environment, etc. I think the HAK, BHK and society at large should join efforts in this direction," Zurabyan had said.
