The leader of the New Times Party (NZhK) compares the internal political life of Armenia with series.

"Prosperous Armenia Party, support me, I shall arrest a minister, file a suit... a real paradox. It seems you are watching a cartoon," Aram Karapetyan told reporters on Oct. 19.

The NZhK leader thinks that among presidential candidates there should be a nominee who has never been in power. He cited the example of Ivanishvili who won in Georgia.

Mr Karapetyan sees only Levon Ter-Petrosyan as the presidential candidate of the opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK).

The NZhK leader is going to run for president in the 2013 presidential election.

"The situation is deteriorating in Armenia, with the political domain resembling a real swamp," he said predicting political manipulations during the elections.
