Civilitas Foundation: Huntsman's letter distributed Oct 1
Civilitas Foundation today responded to allegations that they had avoided to publish a letter by the Huntsman LLC concerning the sums allocated by John Huntsman.
In a statement released on Oct. 17, the Foundation said the letter was published on Oct. 1 and distributed among the parliament members and media representatives at the National Assembly. The copies were also sent to the Prosecutor General's Office and the National Security Service.
The letter is provided below:
"On behalf of Huntsman International LLC and Polymer Materials Inc., we request that the revenue of the sale of shares of Huntsman building products LLC be transferred to the Civilitas Foundation through the person of the founder of the foundation and chairman of the board, Mr. Vartan Oskanian, at his discretion, with no deadline, who we understand has held and is holding such proceeds on behalf of the foundation during this interim period"
