US Deputy Assistant Secretary to arrive in Armenia
The next meeting of the Armenian-American working group for economic affairs is schedule for October 18.
The U.S. delegation will be headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Eric Rubin and Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia, Daniel Rosenblum. The delegation includes representatives of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Armenian-American relations. The Armenian-American working group is a good example of the lasting relations between the two countries. This year the meetings will focus on the enhancement of trade and investment and cooperation in the energy sector.
The working group was established in 1999 and has been convening annually meetings ever since.
