Serzh Sargsyan receives Russia’s Transport Minister
Serzh Sargsyan received on Friday a Russian delegation led by Maxim Sokolov, Co-chairman of the Armenian-Russian inter-governmental economic cooperation commission, Russia's Transport Minister.
The co-chairs of the commission, Maksim Sokolov and Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan, briefed Serzh Sargsyan on the results of today's meeting.
Serzh Sargsyan voiced hope that with its effective work the commission will promote the development of strategic relations between Armenia and Russia and reinforce economic ties between the two peoples in question.
The Armenian leader hailed the role of the inter-governmental commission in the implementation of agreements reached in the fields of economic, energy, transport.
